I am just barely old enough to have enjoyed seeing Star Wars in the theater when it came out. I was 6 years old and still remember it and how exciting it was to see it. I wanted those Princess Leia side buns so bad but could never get them to work. I think my mom tried too and we just weren’t skilled enough in the hair department, apparently. I remember when I got Star Wars sheets and I thought I was the coolest! I think I might still have a pillowcase from that sheet set to this day. I never really got any of the action figures, probably because I was a barbie nut and didn’t think they went together due to their size difference.
When Disney announced they would be adding Star Wars land (Galaxy’s Edge) to their parks I was EXCITED. Now that imaginative little girl would get to experience it for real. When I finally got to see it for the first time in 2019 I was gob smacked. Holy cow it was like walking into the movies. If you haven’t been, you really need to see it! I am not the most well versed in Star Wars knowledge, but my love for the movies and memories still holds strong. It is such a blessing to get to visit the Disney parks and see Galaxy’s Edge in person.
I will have lots more Disney fun to share in future posts and will also includes tips I have learned from visiting both Disneyland and Disneyworld many, many times.
