I love it when I can use my stamp supplies in various ways. Today’s card shows that the Classic Cloche Bundle isn’t just for Christmas!
Those sweet birds are from the Classic Cloche stamp set, but they also make a great birthday card! I stamped the birds with my Memento Black Ink. I added Pool Party with the additional stamp included meant to give the birds some color. I used my Dark Shaded Spruce Blends marker to fill in the branches. I added clear Wink of Stella into the little bubbles. The background is the Birch Background stamp with Crumb Cake Ink. You might notice the larger circle has an embossed effect and I got that with the Timeworn Type Embossing Folder. When using a cut out embossed element you want to remember to cut the shape or die cut first and then emboss so you don’t lose you embossed effect. The Happy Birthday is from the Sweets and Treats stamp set and it was die cut with a die from the Frightfully Cute Tags Dies. I wanted my pearls to match the Pool Party paper so I colored them in with my Light Pool Party Blends Marker.
This is a great example of making sure you look through your supplies to help you in your creative process. You can uses stamps and dies from various sets and come up with something extra creative.
Thanks for stopping by my blog and happy crafting!
